“SLOW”..., 2002, Public Intervention

On the lower dirt road of the Skowhegan campus, I altered the three signs that gave driving directions about how to proceed when traversing this “body of land”. All three signs usually read "SLOW" and were placed at the side of the road approximately 25 feet apart. Each sign was altered to read, respectively, "SLOW", "MORE", "LIKE THAT". The intervention was the result of a rumor circulating about two participants overheard having sex. The woman was heard saying, "slow...mmmmmore...like that".
